Treatment for anxiety, trauma and panic attacks

Anxiety is an extremely uncomfortable feeling of the mind and body. While everyone experiences anxious thoughts from time-to-time, persistent, intrusive thoughts or a constant state of over-thinking and worry needs the help of a professional. If you are experiencing anxiety for the first time, you may be scared. Counseling can help.

Symptoms of Anxiety

  • constant internal chatter or negative self-talk
  • prolonged periods of thinking about one thing (e.g. rumination)
  • insomnia
  • fear
  • hyper-vigilance

  • irritability

Let’s talk. Book a session.

If you believe you are suffering from anxiety, reach out to me. Mental health counseling (or ‘psychotherapy’) can be incredibly beneficial to you. You will learn the skills necessary to regain control of your life and you will have safe place to explore your inner-most thoughts, feelings, and life experiences. Call or email to find out more.

What to Expect

We will meet via HIPAA secure video conference (or ‘telemental health’) 1x per week for 55 minutes. You may be in therapy for several months or a year. The length and frequency of your commitment to therapy will depend on many things and there is no ‘one size fits all’ formula. We will work together to improve your mood and achieve your treatment goals.
