Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is challenging. It’s challenging for you, and it’s challenging for your loved ones. More and more adults are being diagnosed with ADHD than ever before and the impact on your work, your relationships and your spouse can be profound. Not to mention, ADHD can negatively impact your feelings of self-worth, confidence, self-esteem and overall mood. For women, ADHD often presents as disorganization and distraction, while for men, ADHD can present as impulsivity and hyperactivity, and can be correlated to alcohol and drug use.
The good news is that ADHD is treatable and you are not alone. Learning to manage your symptoms and learning strategies to make your life easier are a core part of therapy focused on ADHD. Your relationships will improve as trust and predictability return to your life, too.
Let’s talk. Book a session.
Each session will teach you the skills necessary to regain control of your life and rebuild trust in your relationships.
What to Expect
We will meet via video conference for your 50 minute telehealth appointment once per week. You may be in therapy for several months or a year. The length and frequency of your commitment to therapy will depend on many things and there is no ‘one size fits all’ formula. We will work together to improve your mood and achieve your treatment goals. Email me or use my online calendar to book your intake appointment.
