Emotional Freedom Technique (i.e. EFT or “tapping”) is successfully used to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, and the many symptoms that arise from negative core beliefs. EFT is an evidenced-based, somatic, way to access your inner most thoughts, beliefs, and buried memories so that they can be acknowledged and released. EFT combines gently tapping along energy pathways (meridians) on your own body with specific language, words, and images. This simultaneous use of words and movement is highly effective at calming the fight or flight center of the brain. EFT is easy to learn and easy to use and it’s effective. Clients regularly use EFT prior to important work meetings or to restore peace after a panic attack or to release anger after a fight. With just 5- 10 mins of tapping the relief is tangible.

What to Expect
We will meet via HIPAA secure video conference 1x per week for 45-55 minutes. We will work together to improve your mood, establish healthy boundaries, and achieve all of your treatment goals. Your sessions will use a combination of traditional talk therapy together with the somatic experience of using Emotional Freedom Technique.
